Hafiz Yousaf Bilal
Hafiz qualified as physiotherapist in 2013. He completed his masters in cardiovascular health and rehabilitation in 2014 and he completed various CPD courses in sports rehabilitation and musculoskeletal conditions. He has worked in NHS and private care and specialises in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with complex musculoskeletal problems. He has been working as advanced practice physiotherapist from last 2 years in community based MSK services proving service to NHS patients.
He also does multiple joint specialist clinic in NHS where he works alongside spinal consultant to assess and plan further management for patient presenting with complex spinal problems and multiple joint pain. He has special interest in treatment sports injuries, rehabilitation, spinal problems and multiple joint conditions. He has also been involved in developing services and managing team of first contact physiotherapists and junior MSK physiotherapist. Post qualification he has worked in hospitals and private clinics developing specialist expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. He has attended numerous courses throughout years to further enhance his assessment and treatment skills.
He is a trained injecting therapist and has been injecting Joints and soft tissues. He is also trained in acupuncture. He strongly believes in providing best care to patients and believe in listening to their story as the most important part of assessment. Assessment is the key to success for any treatment and many treatments fail due to lack of clear diagnosis. Hafiz provides clear diagnosis on first assessment and then devise a treatment plan which is continuously re-evaluated based on response to treatment.
